Fort Worth, Texas – April 4, 2022 – The secure self storage facility located at 870 Blue Mound Road West in Fort Worth has several enclosed units for rent that can accommodate a small or a large car or truck. Boats may also be stored there if the customer desires to do so.
“You would need either a 10×20 or 10×25 – it depends on the car length. I have both sizes,” said Blue Mound 287 Marketing Manager Ashley Oliphant. “I always recommend coming and looking at the vehicle storage unit before making any decisions,” Oliphant said.
It costs $160 monthly to rent a 10-foot by 20-foot unit that doesn’t have climate control. It costs $175 a month to rent the same sized storage space that does have climate control, Oliphant said. A small boat or small construction equipment could also be stored in a 10-foot by 20-foot unit, Oliphant said. The 10-foot by 20-foot units are the same size as an average small garage.
Someone needing a larger unit would pay $175 monthly to rent a 10-foot by 25-foot unit without climate control and $185 a month for a unit with climate control.
A car or a boat or small construction equipment could be stored in that amount of space, Oliphant said. The 10-foot by 25-foot units are the size of a large car garage, Oliphant said.
Blue Mound 287 Self Storage also has outdoor spaces where RVs may be stored, Oliphant said. People who rent units or outside space are provided a code so they may access the facility 24 hours a day.
Blue Mound uses video surveillance to keep track of what is going on at the facility.
You don’t need to write a check and drop it off at Blue Mound if you are signed up for their monthly automatic debit payments, Oliphant said.
Storage units are rented on a month-to-month basis. Blue Mound’s management is onsite, Oliphant said. Veterans and first responders are eligible for special discounts.
