What does affordable self storage mean?

That word “affordable” is a sneaky one, truth be told.  Affordable for whom?  Affordable for Bill Gates, or affordable for Joe Smith in North Richland Hills?  We are guessing Mr. Gates would think $200 per month, for a 5×5 storage unit, would seem affordable, while Joe Smith might choke on that rental fee.

The best we can tell you is that, on average, storage costs in storage facilities like Blue Mound 287 are priced affordable for the average citizen, and those rental cost are determined by the general market and by competition.  If you called around to ten different storage facilities, you would find that the rental cost of a 5×5 unit is going to fall into a very tight pricing range, somewhere in the $40-$50 range.
